William Ashburn, LAC

William is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. He is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and develop the tools they need to thrive. William works primarily with teens and also sees adults, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relational challenges, and life transitions.

A strong advocate for small, consistent steps leading to meaningful and lasting change, William believes in empowering clients to create positive shifts in their lives. He works alongside clients to help them utilize their inner resources, fostering resilience and healthy, supportive relationships. William is deeply committed to providing a space of compassion, new perspectives, and growth, where clients can connect and experience meaningful differences in their lives.

William uses a solution-focused approach to help clients build on their strengths and create change. With a background in family systems therapy, he works to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and promote resilience within families. Additionally, he integrates experiential therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to support clients in exploring their emotions and addressing negative thought patterns in ways that foster healing and personal growth.

Outside of counseling, William enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, playing disc golf, and engaging in board game nights. He values continuous personal and professional growth, always seeking to enhance his understanding of the human experience.
