Sean Palas, LCSW

Sean is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) that has a passion for improving mental health within the community. In particular he enjoys helping individuals who struggle with their past/trauma, depression (including thoughts of suicide), anxiety (e.g. stress, OCD, social anxiety), and Borderline Personality Disorder.

In addition to his therapeutic training, Sean has a Master of Divinity from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan and a STB from the Angelicum Pontifical University in Rome, Italy. He recognizes that, for many, integrating faith into their journey of healing is essential.

Sean has practiced in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient therapy, inpatient and emergency department hospital environments, pastoral counseling, and community mental health. He uses a variety of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, CAMS, Solution Focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and is certified EMDR -II.

In his free time, Sean enjoys spending time with family, training for a marathon, and trying to get his bulldog to sing while he plays guitar.
