Kayla McCoy, MSW, PLMSW
Kayla is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about helping children and adolescents navigate life's ever evolving landscape. Kayla believes that, “while the mountain tops have the best views, it’s the valley that grows the fruit.” And to cultivate the best fruit, one needs a well-crafted toolbox to assist.
Kayla creates a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and work through anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, stress, and life transitions. Kayla enjoys working with children, teens, young adults, and families to promote personal growth and strengthen relationships. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices and is currently training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys painting with her daughter and husband as well as spending time on the farm. Her favorite animals on the farm are the silkie chickens and miniature horses.
